Hi.

Happy Sunday, friends. My Speaker Series conversation with Melissa Widner, CEO of Lighter Capital, got me thinking about the role of RBF in the funding landscape in the middle of a tough market. Then I read an article about 1863 Ventures and their incredible work funding BIPOC and women founders with RBF. All of this brought home for me that underrepresented founders are struggling more than ever as capital sources slow down their investing. I think RBF has an incredibly important role to play in the current macro environment to help ensure capital keeps flowing to these businesses. As a result, I think it’s important to help elevate the work of the investors out there who are focused on having that impact. To that end, I’d like to ask a favor. Tell me who you see out there doing great work in an impact environment. Who else is out there funding underrepresented or ignored entrepreneurs? I’d love to learn about their work and share it more broadly with this community of investors through Speaker Series and other collaborations. Reply to this email, and recommend away!
